South Africa’s newest bank, Bank Zero, is now accepting new customers following a closed rollout phase. Executives say applications will be “throttled” to ensure that the bank’s seamless onboarding experience is not overwhelmed. The mutual bank, founded by a number of former FNB executives, has had a difficult start due to a challenging work-from-home environment over the last roughly 18 months.
