• 41% of the survey respondents ranked the convenience of having everything already at the office as the most beneficial
• 43% of the survey respondents said they would return to a traditional office space only if they had to
• 99% of respondents said they felt safe working in a coworking space and were not concerned about sharing amenities with other companies
• Half of the respondents’ leases had terms of 12 months or less while one third were on a month-to-month lease
• When asked why they think businesses in South Africa should be considering coworking solutions, the majority, 36%, said it’s more economical, while 29% said it suits the hybrid work model. And 24% said it’s a solution to loadshedding, since coworking spaces frequently offer backup power during power cuts
