2018 FIFA World Cup - 28 June 2018

The 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia will see a new champion being crowned this year after Germany were beaten by Korea last night.
The four-time champions lost 2-0 to finish at the bottom of Group F, and thus being knocked out of the tournament in the group stage for the first time in their history.
Brazil, in their turn, delivered an impressive performance against Serbia to fire a clear warning shot and now install themselves as the favourite for a record sixth time.
Today the last teams will secure their place in the round of sixteen, and two of these teams will be Belgium and England.
Both have already qualified for the knockout stage, however, they face each other to determine who will top the standings in Group G.
Belgium has been one of the favourites throughout the global showpiece, while the English have been quite impressive.
To say England will win the tournament for the first time since 1966 is still a little premature, however, one of their biggest hurdles, Germany, is no longer a factor.
