Quinton Zunga is the founder and current Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of RH Bophelo (which is celebrating its 2 year anniversary this year) after listing on the JSE in 2017. RH Bophelo is the first 100% black owned company to be listed on the JSE to dilute the richness of the market dominated by the big three private healthcare providers. Quinton has sixteen years of high-level business experience, which includes twelve years of professional experience at senior levels in investment banking and four years private equity experience.
RH Bophelo is currently running an empowerment platform where we assist SME’s with mentorship and access to funding. The whole idea is about sharing what we know about the healthcare sector, such as, how to run a business in this sector, managing of finances and other skills such as project managing, Human Resources, Procurement and etc. This is one way of ensuring that as RH Bophelo we give something back to our communities. Many SME’s do not have access to information let alone know who to talk to, we felt that we have been in their shoes and as a result it will be of value to embark on this project to empower others so that they know.
